RIFLE SHOOTING.

WANGANUI DEFENCE RIFLE ■ CLUB. THE LUXFORD BOWL. The members of the above club fired the first competition for the above trophy on the 16th October, when there was a good muster and some very fair shooting was recorded. - Rifleman Worley shot remarkably well, putting on 49 at 200 and 46 at 300, a total of 95 out of 100. He headed the list again at the second competition on Saturday last with scores of 44 at 300 and 44 at 500. The wind was very tricky. Appended. are scores in the two competitions FIRST COMPETITION.
