HIS MAJESTY’S. COMPLETE CHANGE TO-NIGHT, ONE NIGHT ONLY. To-night a complete change of programme will be screened at His Majesty’s Theatre, which will include two big features. “Snares of Paris,” a new Fox photo-play, promises some sure enough thrills. The second big feature is a big comedy drama, “Tin Pan Alley.” This comedy is said to be highly entertaining, well-acted, and nicely staged. Special music has been arranged by Fuller's Great Orchestra, and seats may he reserved at Upton's. - » THE GRAND. OLIVE THOMAS IN “PRUDENCE ON BROADWAY.” The Grand are showing for the last time to-night Olive Thomas in “Prudence on Broadway,” a picture that they can recommend to their patrons its "worth while walking to see. The story is one that will entertain and amuse during the time the picture holds the screen. The supporting films are excellent and include two good comics and the latest Pathe Gazette. Picture patrons are well catered for afc the above theatre with two big star features. “The White Heather” is Eiand Holt’s famous play. MARY PICKFORD IN “THE HOODLUM” TO-MORROW. Commencing to-morrow, for three nights and a matinee, the management will present Mary Bickford in her latest screen success, “The Hoodlum.” For the benefit of picture patrons all Mary Bickford's latest pictures arc produced by the First National attractions, and since joining this company she has presented “Daddy Long Legs” and “The Hoodlum,” both pictures bearing her own signature, on the screen title. “The Hoodlum” shows Mary in ten moods, quite different from any -she has previously given us, and the story is full of comedy, which will keep any audience amused. The box plans for - (he three nights and matinee open at Collier’s -this morning. Intending patrons aro advised to book early, as a record season is anticipated. SOCIAL AT UPPER ARAMOHO. The usual monthly social in connection with the Upper Aramoho Presbyterian Church was held last Monday evening, and proved to be most successful and enjoyable. The church was full, and a long and varied programme, interspersed with parlour games, was submitted to an appreciative gathering. The Rev. David Campbell, who presided, expressed his pleasure at seeing so many present, and intimated, amidst applause, that a gentleman of the congregation had purchased a piano for the use of the church, the cost of the same to be repaid during the pleasure of the congregation, and of tha amount required Alo had already been, subscribed. The following are the names of the ladies and gentlemen who contributed to the harmony of the evening:-* Mesdames Good, Mason, Stewart, and Howard, and Misses Jenkins, Elliot, Joslin, F-ramctt, and Ivey, and Messrs Gilmonr, Necklan (2), Taylor, Eden, Garner, Bowman, Mason, Miller, Howard, Camp* bell, Martin, Emmett, Elliot, and Yoyoe. A bountiful supper being served by the gentlemen who were in charge of tha social, a happy and helpful gathering closed with the singing of “Aukl Lang Syne.”
