AA'anganui Technical College have won the local third-grade competition, but they will have hard work before them to keen up with the splendid opposing fifteen. School Rugby is generally the best the game can give, and Saturday’s early match should he ro exception to the rule. Last year Palmerston North beat Technical College by 13 points to 11 after a great game. WANGANUI V. WAIROA. After the school teams have settled their contest for supremacy, the Wanganui spectators will have the first opportunity this season of seeing the AVairoa fifteen in action against the AVanganui team. Tho visitors are selected from AVaitotara to the other side of Patea, and will include three Taranaki representatives. On paper they appear a strong team, and will put up a big fight against the AA ranganui fifteen. AVith such an attractive hill-of-fare, there should be a record crowd gathered on the Eec.‘ on Saturday.
