STRIKE IN THE SARRE DISTRICT. PARIS,' August 9. A strike among public service employees in the Sarre district, accompanied by acts of sabotage, resulted in a state of siege boifig) declared' at Sarre brack. It, appears the G&xtiku Government’ had a hand in the movement. Documents' found' in' the’ possession 0f an ex-member of the Reichstag (Oli mert) showed that'the Government ah letted five million' marks for pan-Ger-man propaganda in the Sarre district,' comprising military and political espionage, with the object of preventing- the League of Natidris administerirtg the Sarre region, in accordance, with the Treaty of Versailles. An inquiry has opened into the activities of Olimert and others.
