THE INDIAN FRONTIER
VILLAGERS FLOCKING TO AFGHANISTAN. DUE TO PREACHING OF PRIESTS Received Aug. 10, 12.5 p.m. DELHI, Aug. 9. - Persistent reports are current of the exodus of emigrants from the frontier provinces to Afghanistan, causing the latter much worry. Certain villages in the vicinity of Peshawar have emigrated en bloc, and Afghan reports state they are feeding large numbers of travellers, which is proving a serious matter. There is good to believe the authorities at are growing anxious and are attempting to stop the movement, which is largely due to the preaching of priests in India.
