RIOTING IN GERMANY
DUE TO HIGH COST OF LIVING. Received July 26, 10 a.m. COPENHAGEN, July 25. The Berliner Tageblatt states that owing to the high prices of food and clothing, the mob at Treves pillaged the shops and warehouses. The police were overpowered and appealed to the French troops to assist in restoring order. Arrangements are in progress to reduce the prices.
