At the Tc Awa Club’s swimming carnival to-night. Miss Queeni© Nut-tall established a New Zealand ladies’ halfmile swimming record, doing the distance in 16min 42 2-ssecs. She used the trudgeon stroke throughout (he distance. She swam in a 133 1-3 yards bath.
