CALEDONIAN SPORTS.
The Wanganui Caledonian Society will hold on Saturday, February 7th, on© of the largest Scottish revivals seen in Wanganui for a number of years. The festivities will take place in Cook’s Gardens, where trophies and cash prizes aggregating a big sum in value will be distributed for Highland dancing, piping, and athletic ©vents. In the even, ing a grand national concert will be given in the Opera House, when a fin© programme, consisting of songs, dances, and orchestral numbers will be submitted. Entries for all athletic events close with the secretary (Mr JL Eyme), 'box 224, on Saturday next, the 31st in&fc.
