Auckland has experienced a very heavy downpour of rain. The whole of the peninsula has eben justly benefitted 1$ the fall.

A radio station is now open in Tonga, name Nukualofa, and radio messages may be accepted, and should be routed via Pacific, and the radio rate is Is 8d per Word. Residents of Gonrille are requested to note the advertisement by .the Gonville Presbyterian Church appearing in to-night’s issie. The Church is going to give the Sunday School children a real treat on Saturday, 31st inst. A special invitation is extended to parents and friends of the children.
