A Dublin Castle proclamation offers a reward of ten thousand sterling f<x information for convicting the ngorderer of any one of fourteen police victims, beginning with Detective Smith, shot in Dublin in July, 1919, and ending with Redmond and Constable Finnegan (the Thanks outrage victim); also a reward <rf £IOOO for secret information liable to result in the conviction. Free pardon and the Crown’s special protection in any part of the British Dominions is guaranteed informers concerned in the murders, hut not actually guilty.
