AMUSEMENTS & MEETINGS.
A concert is advertised for Saturday evening at the Returned Soldiers’ Club at 8 p.m. All returned soldiers with their lady friends are invited. QUEEN ALEXANDRA BAND CONCERT ON SUNDAY NEXT. Commencing at 3 o’clock on Sunday afternoon, the Queen Alexandra Band will give one of their selected programmes in the Queen’s Park Rotunda. The band will be under the conductorship of Bandmaster W. Sheplcy, who has prepared an excellent programme. Given fine weather, there is sure to be a large audience.
