UNION BOAT CLUB. The following crews have been selected to race for the Club Fours; F. Wilson (stroke), C- Kruse (3), K. Waite (2), C., Mossman (bow). M. Crotly, W. Kruse, P. Glasgow, G. Milne. P. Smith, V. Walker, E. Didwell, A. Howatson. J. Brown, A. Brown, B. McCarthy, E. Broome. G. Wilson, L. Garner, W. Barnes, T. Quirke. W. Ruscoe, R. Ruscoe, C. Stent, B. King. R. Taylor, T. Ruscoe, T, Crotly, G. Thomas. G. Howatson, D. Boyd, N. Young, G. Love. H. Springer, A. Gurney, E. Wyllie, A- Smith. , Judging by the keenness and the way the new members are handling their blades and the equipollence of the crews, goes to show that after having three weeks’ training the racing which will commence on Monday night; should be very evenly contested. On the completion of the above event another four-oar trophy will be gone on with, and it is hoped to have the crack crews for the forthcoming championship regatta chosen very shortly.
