Atkinson, the sole selector, has chosen the following eleven to represent Wanganui against Poverty Bay at Gisborne on December 26th, 27th and 29th, for the Hawke Cup: F. Burton (Imlay). E. Bernau (College B). R. Gilmer (College A). C. Holland (Imlay). R. London (Y.M.C.A.). N. Oates (Imlay) R. Orton (Victoria). A. Tronson (Y.M.C.A.). C. Treadwell (Y.M.C.A.). L. Wood (Victoria). A. Waters (Imlay) J. M. Hussey (Victoria) has been selected as twelfth man, and Mr W. M. Luxford has been appointed as manager and umpire.
