Hudson left Wanganui today for Ohakune for the purpose of instructing _ the Ohakune-Rangataua platoon in instructional practices for the annual musketry course. A very pleasant little ceremony took place in the ladies’ sitting room of the Telephone Exchange on Wednesday evening, when a presentation was made to Miss Comrie by her fellow ofhoers on the occasion of her resignation from the Department. Mr Beswick (Chief Postmaster) in a few wellchosen words congratulated Miss Comne on the step she was taking in looking after one of New Zealand’s heroes, rnd asked her acceptance of a silver teapot and Doulton jug as a token of the esteem of her companions at the switchboard.
