AUSTRALIAN RAILWAY CONFERENCE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, November 20. Tire Inter-State Conference of delelegates of the Railway Unions of the Commonwealth,has concluded. 'lt carried resolutions in favour of railway workers in each State being granted direct and equal elective' representation on the Board of Management of the Railway Department in each State; condemning the Whitley scheme and all its variations; and pledging to resist to the utmost all attempts to introduce it among railwaymen; in favour of all railwaymen being granted access to the Industrial Arbitration Courts. •
