TENNIS
& GONVILLE CLUB. A meeting of the committee was held on Thursday night, when there were present: Air J. P. Reynolds (chair). Misses Davey (3), Webb-Jonos, D. Tilley, R. Allen, A. Foley, and Messrs R. Clay and T. Urwin. It was decided to affiliate with the ‘Wanganui Lawn Tennis Association, and Mr J. P. Reynolds was elected delegate. The following were appointed a courts committee: Messrs H. Anderson, (convenor), T. Urwin, R. 13. Cuthberteon, 11. Clay, H. Hebditch, E. Eaboiie, C. Pratt and L. Boyd. It was resolved that a match—captain v. vice-captain—bo played on Saturday next, November 22nd, teams to comprise 6 ladies and 6 gentlemen. Fifteen new members were elected.
