THE COMING SHOW.

THE EVENT OF THE TEAR* A* PROMISING ATTRACTION., „ Favoured with fine weather, the Wanganui Agricnlturals Association’ Spring Show, to be held on Wednesday and Thursday next, should prove a big attraction for the public. Exhibitors have made an excellent response, and a good number of entries have been received in almost every class. The stock entries are most satisfactory, and in the various classes for horses, cattle, sheep, and pigs, some of tho best stock on tho Coast will be exhibited. The Wanganui Canine Society’s show will be held as an adjunct, awl there will be a splendid exhibit of dogs on the show bench. As in previous years, the Homo Industries section offers a wide field of competition and there will bo a great display in this very popular section. Judging will bo in progress on the opening day. Thursday will be a half-holiday, and it is anticipated there will bo a large attendance on the part of tbe public. Attractions will comprise a multiplicity of side-shows, many special exhibits of interest, a grand stock parade, and the best programme of ring events yet put on at a local show. The jumping events have drawn record competition, and will be well worth seeing.
