LORD JELLICOE’S TOUR.
INTERVIEW AT VANCOUVER. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Received November 14, 3 p.m. VANCOUVER, November 13. Lord Jellicoe, in an interview, said the essential lessons of the war bad not been lost. Although the Dominion finances had suffered owing to war expenditure, an adequate navy was as essential as ever if the Empire was to continue to exist in security. Lord Jellicoe will inspect the British Columbian coast with a view to naval bases.
