MAIN TRUNK SERVICE.

THE "LIMITED" EXPEJESS. SUCCESSFUL EXPERIMENT. DAILY TRAIN IN DECEMBER. WELLINGTON, November 12. The possibility of running an express between Wellington and Auckland on a 15-hour schedule having been shown by the running of the experimental "limited" trains during the week-end. it has been decided that the train will b&, placed daily in the service, during December. It will leave Wellington in the evening, and Aucfdand in the morning. The experimental schedule is being thoroughly re-cast. This will cause delay, but it is contemplated that the improvement so obtained will justify the postponement. The train will be strictly limited in load, stopping only at Palmerston, M'arton, Taihape, Ohakune, Taumarunui, and Frankton. The new train will be independent of Christmas traffic facilities.
