SHOCKING RAILWAY FATALITY.

(Per United Press Association.) FEILDING, November 13. A shocking railway fatality occurred here this afternoon. A man, whose name is at present unknown, attempted to board a moving train about 5 o'clock. He fell between the carnage and the platform and was killed almost instantly. The body was fearfully mangled. FEILDING, November 14. The man killed by the train was Alex Woods, a carpenter. He was a single man, aged 70. He was on board the Main Trunk Train, and tried to leave after the train had started. Constable McDonell saw the man's intention from a distance and rushed to prevent an accident, but could not reach him in time. Woods fell betwen two carriages right across the rails. His head was decapitated and one foot severed, death being instantaneous.
