RETURNING TROOPS.

TWO MORE TRANSPORTS SAIL. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 7. The Defence Department has been advised that two more transports have left England for New Zealand— the Somerset, on the 2nd July, with 967 troops, due in Lyttelton about 12th August; ai.d Mamari, with 1055 troops, due in Auckland about 13th August. This brings the total troops on the water up to P558, in 11 transports, which also carry 605 women and 154 children. The tiansport Ruahine is expected here tonight. She berths at 7 a.m. to-morrow if a clean ship.
