THANKSGIVING SERVICES.

Bishop of London, the clergy, and Noncomfonnists’ conducted a hearty and reverent thanksgiving in Trafalgar Square, the Salvationists’ celebrated Silver Band supplying the music. AT DUNEDIN. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, July 7. There were thanskgiving services in all the churches yesterday. At the united service in Kensington Drill Hall over 6010 were present and hundreds were turned away. The choir consisted of 800 voices. 4 *■* ' SERVICES AT ST. LAWRENCE’S CHURCH. Th«ce were large congregations at both morning and evening services at' St. Lawrence’s, Aramoho, yesterday. The vicar, the Rev. Ogden, preached appropriate sermons at both services, and the choir, under the conductorahip of Mr 3. Weller, rendered choral Communion and Webb’s “Peace Hymn” in the morning, and “Peace With Honour.” ‘Bunnett’s “Magnificat," Jackson’s “Te Deum,” the National Anthem, and the anthem “How Lovely Are the Messengers” at the evening service. Mr Eastman was, the soloist.
