PLUNKET SOCIETY.

The usual monthly meeting was held in the Pltmket room on Tuesday. There were present; Mrs Gibbous (chair), Mesdames Nean.e. Izett, Medhurst, Lloyd, Spurdle, Williams, Crawford, Harper, Addenbrook, B jam ires and Miss Cowper. Apologies were received from Mrs Stevenson and Mrs Comyns. SYMPATHY. Before commencing the business it was resolved that a letter of sympathy be sent to Mrs Sampson. NURSES REPORT—The Blanket Nurses reported as follows; Visited town office 625, visited Wanganui East office 68, visits to homes 322, new cases for the*month 80. CORRESPONDENCE.—A -letter won received from Plunket Nurse Wilson, with reference to opening a room at Castlecliff and visiting Waverley. It was resolved that the following reply be sent to Nurse Wilson:—“ That a repm at Castlecliff be opened at Mrs Fox’s house, Abbott Street (just off 5d section! Tuesday afternoon of each week; and os to visiting Waverley, the committee felt that the nurses have enough work to occupy their time in their own disANNUAL REPORT AND BALANCESHEET. —The annual report and bal-ance-sheet was adopted. ANNUAL MEETING.—It was resolved that the annual meeting be held on Ist May, 1919. NEW MEMBERS.—The following new members were elected’;—Mesdames McLeod, Fox, Draffin, Conll, White, Amos, Turner,. Jad son, Gould, Me-rrie, Meier, antd West.
