TYPHOON AND FLOOD.
GREAT DISASTER IN JAPAN, (Aua. & N.Z. Cable Assn. * Router.) Received October 4, 2.30 p.m. TOKIO, October 3. The most destructive typhoon and flood in twenty years destroyed thousands of buildings. Forty thousand are homeless, and a hundred dead. A tidal wave caused serious inundations.
