EASTER TRAMWAY TRAFFIC
RECORD FIGURES. Record figures were established by the tramways in Wanganui during the Baster holidays—.Saturday, Sunday and Monday last. The number of passengers carried on those three days was ,17,070, as compared with 27,457 for the corresponding period last year—on increase of 9620.
The revenue collected for the three days mentioned was .£371 10s 2d, as compared with J259 2b 7d—an increase of Jll2 7s 7d.
