CLOSING ON ST. QUENTIN.
FRENCH REACH THE SUBURBS. GERMANS SACKING THE LINE. (Australian and N,Z. Cable Association.) ' Received April 14, 12.15 p.m. PARIS, April 13. Mr Wood, a correspondent, giving details, states that the French, have reached the suburbs of St. Quentin. He'asserts that the capture of St. Gobain and St. Quentin, according to French strategists, means the breaking of the Hindenburg line. The Germans are believed to be engaged in sacking St. Quentin, and many fires have been observed. Prisoners assert that Prince Eitel Friederich has ordered the town's destruction .
