LABOUR UNREST.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. SYDNEY, April 12. During a debate an a proposal to adjourn the Labour Council until after the Federal elections, which was carried, Mr Rippingale (Coachmakers' Union) opposed the motion, stating: that the undercurrent of the working and industrial world which had started in New Zealand would j*et here shortly. From information received, they would be aeked a momentous question, if not to-night, then next week or later. It would mean a bread-a.nd-butter question for Australia. He could not eay too much, but the Council should be in their places to answer the question when it arrived.
