CAMP NOTES.
SPORTS AND COMPETITIONS. TERRITORIALS DEPART. After having been under canvas for a week, the Territorial Camp on the Racecourse was struck this morning, when a large number of men left for their homes by the morning and special trains. Some of the staff are remaining- till to-morrow. Arrangements an; well in hand ior the "casuals' " training camp, which will be held next week for those men who for various reasons have been able to attend the main camp. Nothing but praise has been given by the men who have atbended the Territorial Camp on the Racecourse to the people of Wanganui for their hospitable treatment. The way in which the men attended the recreation tents provided by the Y.M.C.A.. the C.K.M.S., and Salvation Army and Presbyterian Institute gave ample evidence of their appreciation Yesterday a gporte programme, -which included a company drill competition, was held on the Racecourse, the results being as follow: Company Drill Competition.—A. Gov. Tng-of-War.—<3. Coy. Relay Race. —B. Coy. 100 Yards Championship.—B. Ooy. 440 Yards Championship.—B. Coy. Points Prize. —A. Coy. and B. Cov. tie.
