COMPLETE SURPRISE FOR ENEMY.
BAVARIAN GENERAL IN A RAGE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) Received April 13, 9.10 a.m. PARIS, April 12. Marcel Hutin says that a general commanding a Bavarian infantry division in a rage tore up a report asking Prince Rupprecht for reinforcements, when the British Tommies entered his shelter and prisonered the general and his entire staff. The incident indicates the extent of the Germans' surprise.
