The many friends of Nurse C. H. Matthews, who was recently reported dangerously ill, will be pleased to hear ■that she has resumed duty at Walton-on-Thames hospital.

A cable has been received stating that Staff-Sister Phoebe Reynolds,* of the N.Z. branch of .the Army-Nursing Service, is seriously ill. Sister Reynolds, who was jfart owner of “Marionoto” Private Hospital, Hawera, went to Egypt with the N.Z. nursing division soon after war broke rut. She did duty as a Sister in No. i? General Hospital, Alexandria, for i 6 months, and then returned by the. Navua to New Zealand! While here she Was appointed to the staff of Trentham Military Hospital- After having been there for five Sister Reynolds received orders to proceed to England with the 17th Reinforcements. On arrival she was appointed Staff-Sister at Walton-omThamcs hospital for New; Zealanders.
