UNIVERSITY SENATE.
BUSINESS CONCLUDED.
(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, January 29.
The University Senate'has concluded its sittings. The statutes were formally completed and the following are to come into , operation this, y ear: —New course for bachelors of agriculture, changes in biology, prescription, medical and travelling scholarships; degree for bachelor of music; diploma in journalism; and doctorates in literature ana science. Hereafter a supplementary examination in accountancy will be held in March. The Senate will meet in Wellington in April to consider English examiner’s reports for honours degrees and scholarships. The next annual conference will be held in Dunedin during January, 1918. '
