The Servians, by a splendid counter-attack southward of Pojarevatz, eastward of Belgrade, inflicted on the enemy 8000 casualties. The Germans fell back near Semendria before-violent Servian onslaughts. A German division southward of Belgra.de, marching towards Leskovatz, was caught on the flank by the Servian artillery, losing one-third of its effectives. The Austro-German advance nevertheless continues. •
