HOCKEY.
YESTERDAY’S GAMES. The Chemists v. P. and T. match afforded a lively game yesterday, and P. and T. were hard put to it to keep their present position in the run for the shield. Though playing with a full team while the Chemists mustered only nine men, P. and T. were very lucky in the game ending five goals to four in their favour. The match between the P. and T. and Phoenix to decide foe championship in being looked forward to with interest. FIXTURES FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL COMPETITION'. September 15th, Mosston v. Queen’s Park, at Mosston; Gonville v. Avenue, on Tech- ground. September 22nd, Queen’s Park v. Avenue, on Queen’s Park ground; Gonville v. Mosston, on Tech, ground. September 29th, Queen’s Park v. Gonviilc, on Tech, ground; Avenue v. Mosston, at Mosston.
