N.Z. ARMY MANOEUVRES BILL.
(By Telegraph.—Special to "Herald.”) WELLINGTON, September 2. The Army Manoeuvres Bill was introduced this afternoon. It gives the Government power to utilise any lands throughout the country requijed for' drilling and manoeuvring purposes. Provision is for the payment of compensation for anv damage done. . The Bill is on the lines of the Eng- | lish law- on the same suojeet.
