He left New- Zealand with the Main Expeditionary Force with the rank ;cf ■ licut.-colonel, and was invalided back from Egypt recently.. Since-, returning to Dunedin he has undergone, an operation ah a private hospital,- and is in a weak state of health. On 'Tuesday he -expressed, his intention of going to &Wnslow House, to.jmake inquiries about accommodation, there, and at about ■ 1.30* p.in. he was seen in tb,e vicinity of that , e-Voblishment.
