THE KING’S PICTURES. ' An American biograph version of R. D. Blackmore’a renowned novel, "Lorna Doone,” was presented at the King’s Pictures last night, and a move powerful dramatic subject it would be hard to find. Right throughout the two acts interest never ceased, and the settings and acting, with costumes of the period, wero excellent. Another noteworthy inclusion ; was “Father .and Son,” a Yitagraph I drama of considerable merit. “An Eni--1 sode of the Mexican War (drama)., “Mr Hubby’s . Wife” (comedy), “A Smoky : Story,” and “Bunny at the Derby” j (comics), “Topical Budget,” and “A Yisi’; 1 to the London Zoo” (interest) were also I attractive subjects.
