Massey states that the question of providing for the continuance (■I th ■ House for five years in lieu of three will receive the serious consideration of the Government before the end of the present Parliament. The Hon. W. L. Herdman states that the Solicitor-General was paid a fee of two hundred guineas for drafting the Cook Islands Bill.
