MONEY BAS DISAPPEARS.
MELBOURNE POST OFFICE MYSTERY. Press Association—Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, July 8. A bag containing .£IOOO in cash, unnegotiable drafts and money orders, disappeared from the safe of the General Post Office. The bag was securely locked in the strongroom on Monday evening, and was missed on Tuesday morning. The safe was not injured, which leads to the belief that the thieves used keys. The authorities are reticent.
