PAPAROA COAL MINE.

BRIGHTER PROSPECTS AHEAD. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 35. At the annual meeting of the Paparoa Coal Company to-day it was stated that the directors had been informed by its mine manager that there was no abubt in his mind that the company had a /.one of really good coal which could bo opened out witn no great additional expenditure. The company required an output of 1500 tons of coal to pay its way, and at the present time it was putting out 1100. The directors had had a very trying time, but the prospects were now encouraging.
