PLUMBERS’ BOARD.

(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Juno 24. Tho first meeting of the newly-elected Plumbers’ Board was held this evening at Parliamentary Buildings, Dr. Frengley, presiding. The Hon. R. H. Rhodes, Minister of Public Health, |jaye a brief address outlining the work before the Board in furthering the welfare of public health by standardising plumbing work. Mr W. H. Morton said he knew tho difficulties which beset the plumbing trade, but ho believed the Board would do good work by making uniform by-laws. Other members, spoke briefly; on tho desire to do the best possible, and a motion thanking the Minister for his address was carried, after which the Board wont into committee.
