Those condemned for the murder of Sherbet Pasha, include Sherif Pasha, Reichid Bey (who is in Paris) Prince Saba-heddin and Nazim Pasha, (formerly Minister for War), who are believed to be refuging on a Foreign cruiser lying in the Constantinople roadstead. AN AMBUSH. A PROVINCIAL GOVERNOR KILLED. Received June 24, 9.30 a.m. CONSTANTINOPLE. June 23. Forid Bey, commander of the Basra division of the army; Nouri Bey, Governor of Moun Tifik; and two officers of gendarmes have been ambushed. Nouri Bey was killed and the others wounded. It is believed to be an echo of the Shefket plot and the Government’s neglect to introduce reforms.
