MASKED MAIL ROBBERS.

Bordeaux is excited over a curious mail robbery, alleged to have been committed by masked men, who held up a driver on his way to the station, seized him by the throat, chloroformed him, and, after securing all the mail-bags, left him asleep in I)is waggon. The driver was brought back to consciousness, but it was an hour before lit* had sufficiently recovered his senses to give an account of the adventure. Ho Hum stated that he had collected the bays as usual at tho various points in the town, and was driving with about HO sacks along the quays, on his way to the station. Suddenly two masked men jumped on his waggon, and while one seized him by the throat, the other held some cotton saturated with a liquid, which seemed to be chloroform, to his nose. He soon lost consciousness, and does not know what happened afterwards. The waggon was empty, and all the mail-socks li.'irl been tacken away.
