Every item on :,hc programme was encored, which fact in itself is sufficiently indicative of the excellence of the entertainment. It is a nerry company, and very picturesque in tress. Their musical qualities are of no mean order. Especially good they arc in ‘oncerted numbers, all of which went with ■. good swing. Mr Maynard Dakin is a lever comedian, who was heard to advantage in all of his items, whilst Mr W. P. Turner also scored a hit with his Mimeroiis turns, Mr Kingsley Chapman is 1 very fine tenor, and his solos were much appreciated, and in the dnet “Watchman, , hat of the Nighth" he and Mr Leslie \nstin scored a big success. Misa Phyllis Fhilipson, who lias a pleasing soprano voice, established herself as a favourite with her sweet singing. Misa Elsa Langley sang “The Wedding in the Jungle'’ wry daintily, and wan encored. Mr. Hob Thomas proved himself a capital accompanist as well as a- first-class comedian, and he assisted materially to the success of the entertainment, which was a. most enjoyable one. The Pierrots will give another performance to-night, when a complete change of programme will he given, and then- should be favoured with a big house, To-night's bill of fare, will include a novelty in the shaue of a burlesque drama, which is described as very funny. On Monday evening the Pierrots will give one of their very enjoyable performances at Waverlev, and tho'dd be favoured with a parked house, as the entertainment to be provided is one which cannot fail to please those who have the pleasure of attending it.

ROYAL RINK, DRUIDS' HALL. Tho patronage extended to this popular iviae.a of amusement shows no signs of diminishing; on the contrary, splendid attendances were registered at both tho afternoon and evening sessions yesterday, while a number of learners took advantage of their lunch-hour to more thoroughly master the intricacies of the rollers. The management advertise a special utfriction for to-night, in the shape of a halfmile race, and as the rink's patrons include, some expert ukaters, a most exciting struggle should result. A first-class lot. of skates is on hire, and those who attend the Druids' Hall can rely on spending an enjoyable time.

PRINCES RINK, DRILL BALL.
