But for running short journeys about town the charges are tho same as the ordinary cab-fares up to seven o’clock. After seven double rates are charged. The touring charges are especially attractive. 'The rate is only 1/- per mile, for four persons or less, and 5/per hour waiting time, so that for a “round” trip through the suburbs and out into the country for four persons would cost them only 3d. per mile per passenger.
