A representative of the Hemp and Cotton Company of Berlin is Visiting Central Queensland, with a view to settling 1000 cotton growers there. The Government has offered the company a block of 40 square miles near Capeiia. The company is prepared to spend £150,000 on the enterprise, and is willing to buy all the cotton produced.
