Acting-Premier Holman has received a communication from the Commonwealth authorities asking whether and on what terms a second-class cruiser and three destroyers can be built at the Government dock on Cockatoo Island. Mr Holman, after receiving an as'surance that they would be able to undertake the work, instructed the Superintendent to submit a report.
