ANOTHER HUGE DREADNOUGHT.

Tho huge Dreadnought, H.M.S. Monarch. was launched at Elswick to-day, Mrs Lewis llareourt, wife of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, performing tho christening ceremony. The ship has a displacement of 22,700 tons, a length of aloft., and a. beam of 88* ft. Her main armament is, 10 135-inch guns, a torpedo defence battery, 24 four-inchers, and also three tubes firing 21-inch torpedoes. Her horse-power is 27,001), and her speed 21 knots.
