N.Z. DEFENCE FORCES.
(Per United Press Association'). WELLINGTON, March 29. In reference to the officers’ appointments cabled yesterday, ’ Major G. Johnston is to bo director of ordnance, a position, held nntif recently by Lieut.-Colonel. Head. Captain Knox, will organise the Army Service Corps, and Captains Onslow, Moore, and Jacob will be instructors in mounted and infantry duties.
