Triggs, Conciliation Commissioner, presided- to-day .in a dispute between the licensed hotelkoeprs of Dunedin and suburbs and their employees ' Tim' agreement was arrived, at, the following being the wages:—Kitchen; Where 5 employed, chef 90s, second 555, third 27s fid. others 255; where 4 employed, c-hof 7os, second 435, others 20s; where 3 employed, chef 67s Gd, second 42s od, ■ others 255; where 2 employed, chef, 455, second 30s; where 1 employed, male cook 40s, female cook 27s Gd. Dining-rooms ; ’ Waiters 32s Gd, waitresses 225, :housemaids 17s Gd. Pantry: Where more than one. male employed, first hand 30s, others 255; where only one male employed, lie shall be pan--255, female 20s. Porters; Day 255, niphf 30s. General bands 255, barmen 42s Gd barmaids 255, laundresses 255. Where board is not provided in any case 10;-, weekly in addition to wages shall bo paid. 'Where lodging is not provided, 5s additional weekly is to bo paid. A week’s work is to consist of 62 hours, excluding meal times, in case of males over 16, and 58 hours in any other case. In addition to the statutory weekly half-holiday, employees are to have a half-holiday’ every fourth Sunday.
