The Chief Justice, in the absence of the Governor, presided at a great gathering in the Toxvn Hall in continuation of the Bible tercentary celebrations. The heads of the various Protestant denominations gave stirring addresses on the Bible as the basis of faith, its influence in the home, national life, and the mission field.
